Pre-K Twos & Threes

Pre-K 3 Blue Room | Ratio 23:2
Our Classroom
All three year old classrooms are set up with unique learning centers that encourage children to be self-sufficient while fostering an understanding of basic concepts. Our child-centered room arrangement allows children to move freely from one interest center to the next, giving them the opportunity to make plans and choices in their environment
Curriculum
We choose broad themes to explore that allow each classroom to individualize their study based on the teacher and children’s interests and questions. A study of animals for example, in one room may center on animals at the zoo while another classroom may focus on pets and how to care for animals in your home. This type of individualization allows teachers to modify curriculum and build on what is exciting to their group.
A Day in the Life
We believe in a balanced day for your child. We create the perfect mix between quiet and active times, large and small group learning, child initiated activities and teacher facilitated activities to create a day full of learning and fun!
Meals & Snacks
Children who are with us all day enjoy daily, nutritious snacks and meals. Besides a balanced meal, we also focus on table manners, independence and good eating habits.
Circle Time
Every day we gather together and share stories, talk about our day and plan our learning journey. Being together allows us to get to know our friends, sing songs and play learning games. We assign helpers for the day, give a weather report and take a look at our calendar.
Happy 2 years to our oh so sweet, Ms. Kirsten Doyle!! We love you more than you know & can’t wait to watch you rock the blue room this year! 🩵 ... See MoreSee Less

🚨 Parenting Hack - using AI! 🙌🏻
Storytime just got a whole lot sweeter
Last week at a mastermind, I learned another use case withth Ai—and I think other parents might appreciate this too.
Instead of reading the same children’s books on repeat (think The Hungry Caterpillar or Where the Wild Things Are), some parents are using AI to create custom bedtime stories that feature their own kids as the main characters.
🤯🤯 💡💡 🙌🏻 🙌🏻
You can tell AI your child’s name, a few fun details (like their favorite animal or color), and even the kind of adventure they might want to go on—and out comes a short, fun, three- to five-minute story written just for them.
You can take it a step further and build in values-based lessons—like kindness, courage, forgiveness, or resilience.
And - you can add in a Bible verse at the end to reinforce the message with a little spiritual guidance. (You don’t have to know the Bible verse. You can ask AI to pick one that matches the theme of the story!)
(We’ve got severall faith-filled families at Fundamentals, and I love that this gives you a way to blend storytime with scripture.)

As a dad, I know how meaningful it is to see your kid light up when they hear their name in a story—and even more so when the story is about their bravery, their kindness, or their big, curious heart.
So if you haven’t played with AI in this way yet—this is your sign to give it a try.
Free. Easy. And honestly, a really beautiful way to end the day.
Ps I use chatgpt but im sire it will work on other we platforms
👉 Want to try it yourself? I’ve dropped a sample prompt in the comments so you can copy, paste, and customize it for your kid tonight.

Prompt - Write a short story (3–5 minutes) for a toddler (or whatever your child’s age) featuring a child named [insert child’s name] who goes on a fun adventure involving [insert theme—e.g., kindness, courage, helping others]. Make the tone playful and age-appropriate. At the end, include a Bible verse that reinforces the lesson of the story. The story should be warm, imaginative, and help spark a meaningful bedtime conversation. * and if you have other kids in certain their names as well and tell chat to include them in the story.
Such a great prompt!
