Did you know our founder, Wyatt Graves, started his journey in childcare exactly 25 years ago today? 🎈✨

While Fundamentals opened its doors right here in Central back in 2013, the heart, experience, and passion behind our school have been growing for a quarter of a century through Wyatt and Janae.

For the entire month of October, we will celebrating 25 years of serving families! Gabby & Shelby earned a 6.58 on their CLASS observation! 👏👏

That number represents so much more than a score. It represents the little moments that happen all day long — the conversations, the encouragement, the curiosity, the laughter, the questions, the patience, and the intentional ways they help their children learn and grow. 🌱🧠❤️

It represents teachers who aren’t just in the classroom… but are truly present WITH their children.

🎉🌈 WHAT DOES A 6.03 CLASS SCORE MEAN?🌈🎉

We are SO excited to celebrate Davionne & Makayla and their incredible 6.03 CLASS Observation Score! 💙💛

But what exactly is a CLASS observation? 👀

CLASS stands for Classroom Assessment Scoring System. It is a tool used to look at the quality of teacher-child interactions in the classroom. Rather than simply looking at what is happening in the classroom, CLASS focuses on how teachers interact with and support children throughout the day. 🧠❤️

Observers look at things such as:
✨ How teachers build positive relationships with children
✨ How they support children’s emotional needs
✨ How they engage children in learning
✨ How they encourage children to think, communicate, and problem-solve
✨ How intentionally teachers create meaningful learning experiences

And that 6.03?! 🤩👏

CLASS scores are measured on a 1–7 scale, so a 6.03 represents a very strong level of teacher-child interaction and intentional teaching. It reflects the thought, preparation, consistency, and genuine care that Davionne & Makayla bring into their classroom every day. 🌟

🎉🌟 A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO HANNAH & LORI! 🌟🎉

Today we are celebrating an incredible 6.42 CLASS Observation Score! 👏💙

But what does that number actually mean? 🤔

CLASS observations look at the quality of teacher-child interactions in the classroom — things like how teachers support children emotionally, engage them in learning, encourage thinking, ask meaningful questions, and create a positive learning environment. 🧠❤️

A 6.42 reflects an exceptionally strong level of classroom interaction and intentional teaching. It shows the dedication, preparation, and genuine love Hannah & Lori bring into their classroom every single day. 🥹👏
