Before & After Care
We allow for homework time when the children return to the center in the afternoons. Some families prefer children to get their energy out and save their homework for home. Other families have busy schedules and extracurricular activities and find it helpful for children to get a head start on their homework.

Summer Camp
Each classroom is equipped with lots of games, activities, and free space for the kids to make independent decisions on what they want to play. We offer a range of outdoor activities and games to indoor crafts, art, and movies. Given the choice to make their own decision, children in this age group enjoy summer camps much more than traditional group care.

🎄💌 Spreading Christmas Cheer Across Generations 💌🎄
Our PreK-3 and PreK-4 friends had the sweetest opportunity to decorate Christmas cards for a local nursing home, and their hearts were just as busy as their hands. ❤️
Through this activity, our children learned about kindness, giving, and thinking of others—especially those who may need a little extra joy during the holiday season. Each card was filled with creativity, love, and genuine holiday cheer, reminding us that even the smallest hands can make a big difference.
We are so proud of our students for spreading smiles and showing what it truly means to give from the heart this Christmas. 🎅✨Making spirits bright at the nursing home!
Thank you Fundamentals Early Learning Center - Central for helping spread Christmas cheer! ... See MoreSee Less

❄️ Learning Through Play in Our Toddler Classroom! ☃️
Today our toddlers created adorable 3D snowmen by placing cotton balls onto a picture—and while it looked like simple fun, so much learning was happening!
This activity helped support:
✨ Fine motor skills as little hands picked up and placed the cotton balls
✨ Hand-eye coordination through careful placement
✨ Sensory exploration by feeling different textures
✨ Creativity & self-expression as each snowman became uniquely their own
✨ Focus and confidence as they worked to complete their masterpiece
Hands-on art experiences like this build important early skills while allowing toddlers to explore, create, and feel proud of what they accomplish. We love watching their learning come to life—one cotton ball at a time! 💙❄️ ... See MoreSee Less

If you can, please drop off new toys at our center. (Please ensure they are clean and complete — think dolls, cars, books, puzzles, stuffed animals, art kits, anything that brings a smile.)
Let’s come together and show our community what kindness looks like. Your generosity might just light up a child’s world for Christmas. 🌟
If you have questions about drop-off times or toy ideas, just message me. Thank you for helping us make this season special — for some children, a simple toy can turn a whole year around. ❤️ #CentralsToyBox #CommunityChristmas #DonateJoyCentral's Toy Box is in full swing but more donations are needed! 🎨 Why We Let Our Young Toddlers Explore Paint 🎨
If you’ve ever seen a toddler covered in paint from head to toe, you know it’s more than a messy moment — it’s learning in action! ❤️
When our young toddlers paint, they’re not just making art. They’re:
✨ Building sensory awareness
✨ Strengthening fine-motor skills
✨ Exploring creativity and self-expression
✨ Learning cause & effect
✨ Practicing calm focus and emotional regulation
✨ Engaging with friends and sharing space
Paint play is one of the best ways for little ones to learn about their world — with their whole bodies, whole brains, and whole hearts. 💛
We love giving them opportunities to explore, discover, and create! 🎨🖐️ ... See MoreSee Less
