Based on Developmentally Appropriate Practices, our educational program starts in the infant room, is included with normal tuition for all children, and progresses with each child into our PreK 4 classroom. Our primary aim is to ensure that all children are ready for Kindergarten as defined by the standards set forth by the LA Dept. of Education.

Curriculum to fit their developmental level. Classrooms are designed for children to explore and make choices about their play. We make sure children have access to a wide variety of fun and educational toys.
Green & Brown Room | Ratio 11:1
All two year old classrooms are set up with unique learning centers that encourage children to be self-sufficient while fostering an understanding of basic concepts.

We allow for homework time when the children return to the center in the afternoons. Some families prefer children to get their energy out and save their homework for home. Other families have busy schedules and extracurricular activities and find it helpful for children to get a head start on their homework.

We offer a range of outdoor activities and games to indoor crafts, art, and movies. Given the choice to make their own decision, children in this age group enjoy summer camps much more than traditional group care.

And just like that… WE’RE BACK! 🥹😭💛
Tiny backpacks. Big smiles. Some happy tears. Some “I’m not sure about this” faces. 😂 And a whole lot of little personalities walking through our doors ready for another year of learning, growing, playing, and making memories!
Today was filled with:

🥹 A few tears (from the babies AND maybe the mamas 😭)

Our teachers have been working SO hard getting their classrooms ready, planning, preparing, decorating, and getting their hearts ready for a brand-new group of little learners. Today, all that preparation came to life!
And to our parents… thank you for trusting us with your most precious little people. We know that first-day drop-off can be HARD. Please know that when you walk out those doors, your babies are surrounded by people who love them, care for them, pray for them, teach them, and celebrate every little milestone right alongside you. ❤️

While our kiddos have been enjoying a little break, our teachers have been BUSY! 👏🏼💪🏼
We just wrapped up TWO FULL DAYS of Staff In-Service Training, and let’s just say… we covered A LOT! 😅
🧼 Deep Cleaning — and we mean DEEP cleaning! Floors were scrubbed, classrooms were refreshed, and we got into those places that don’t always get the everyday attention they deserve. 🧽✨
👩🏼🏫 Classroom Management & Behavior Guidance — digging into strategies that help us create calm, structured, positive classrooms where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
📚 CLASS Observation Training — learning more about what high-quality teacher-child interactions look like and how we can continue raising the bar for our classrooms.
🤝🏼 Team Meetings & Teamwork — because an incredible center doesn’t happen because of one person. It takes an entire team working together!
🎨 Classroom Decorating & Organization — refreshing our spaces, getting creative, and making sure our classrooms are welcoming, engaging environments for our little learners.
❤️ CPR Training — because being prepared for the unexpected is one of the most important parts of caring for children.

These two days were filled with learning, teamwork, hard work, laughs, reflection, and maybe a little bit of “okay, my back hurts from scrubbing that floor” 😂
But behind every clean classroom, every intentional interaction, every behavior strategy, every lesson, and every smiling teacher is the same goal:

🎒✨ Today is our Last Day of School at Fundamentals Early Learning Center! ✨🎒
What a year it has been! We’ve watched tiny hands learn to hold crayons, little feet grow more confident, first friendships blossom, and so many milestones reached. 💜
Today is bittersweet because many of our children are getting ready for their next adventure—whether that’s moving into a new classroom or heading off to kindergarten. While we’re so excited to watch them continue to grow, it’s never easy saying goodbye to the little faces we’ve loved all year long.
To our amazing families…thank you for trusting us with your greatest blessings. Watching your children learn, laugh, and grow has been one of our greatest joys.

Bennett started this daycare July of this year, but I already feel like he has learned so much from his amazing teachers Brielle, Vanessa, and Cally. I’m so grateful for these ladies because they genuinely care so much for my baby 🥹 super grateful and lucky to have my baby in this daycare. He’s already on a better sleep schedule and eating his at home meals better thanks thanks to them! He’s also seems more confident now and vocal.
Let’s see…favorite accomplishment with Bodie is how much knowledge the teachers in Pink and Lime have given him. Just because he can’t talk in sentences doesn’t mean he can’t comprehend and they have given him the skills to communicate without words. He’s a sponge and I can’t wait to see what growth takes place in the next room. 🩷💚 Next is the accomplishments of Junior. I was terrified of what this past year would bring for my sensory overload kid. Especially in a room with more kids. He’s so sensitive 🫶🏼 But blue room brought the patience, kindness, and support to him that he needed so he could learn to self-soothe and manage anything thrown at him. He’s such a “big kid” these days and knowing he felt safe enough to tell his teachers how he felt meant the world 💙 Here’s to 🧡💛!
